NJ Makers Day To Be Celebrated at Woodland Park Library

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library, 7 Brophy Lane, Woodland Park, is an official site for New Jersey Makers Day, to be held on Saturday, March 25.

Join in at the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for New Jersey Makers Day activities.There will be button making, kinetic sand sculptures, virtual reality glasses, exploring new music apps on the iPads, and foam block building for preschool children. The library also has EXPLORE S.T.E.M. kits available to check out.Kits can be explored individually or as a family activity. Some examples of the EXPLORE S.T.E.M. Kit themes are physics, math, nature, map skills, weather and measurement.

No registration is necessary for this drop in program.

New Jersey Makers Day began in 2015 to enhance community engagement and develop connections among residents by collaborating with multi-type libraries, museums, small businesses and others to promote and explore new opportunities for entrepreneurship, innovation and hands-on learning experiences.
