NEW JERSEY - Thursday marked the one-year anniversary of the first confirmed COVID-19 case in New Jersey. As of today, there have been 710,0466 total confirmed cases and 90,074 probable cases. But administered vaccine doses continue to rise.
"Today, the light of a new day is breaking on the horizon with over two million vaccines doses administered across our state", said Governor Murphy.
As of today, New Jersey has administered more than 2,257,726 vaccine doses, (1,497,039 first doses and 759,638 second doses).
New Jersey will expand COVID-19 vaccine eligibility later this month to millions more people including teachers, the homeless and clergy, Governor Phil Murphy announced Monday.
"Our recovery efforts are being aided by the arrival of THREE vaccines – the latest coming from one of the most historic of New Jersey names, Johnson & Johnson", said Murphy. "We know you’re ready for these vaccines, and we purpose-built a vaccination infrastructure to get shots into arms".
