Passaic County’s Office of Recycling and Natural Resources now offers a service called Recycle Coach, an informational and education website and app which is designed to make recycling easy, so more residents will do it, and get it right.

Recycle Coach notes that when residents make smarter disposal decisions, municipal solid waste programs benefit, and so does the planet.

Within the program, you can enter your town to receive specific information tailored to your municipality’s recycling options. You can view your recycling schedule and create reminders. Users are also able to plug in questions about any particular item to see whether it can be recycled or not such as certain plastics, batteries, paint and many more.

Passaic County’s Office of Recycling and Natural Resources emphasizes recycling and has expanded to encompass a number of environmentally related programs. The office coordinates outreach and education programs to support and enhance municipal, state and national resource reduction programs.

We must have the courage and will to fight hate, bigotry and prejudice.

We must not wake up to what we hoped was a bad dream and ...
