Passaic County One Stop Career Center Announces Job Fairs


Passaic County One Stop Career Center announces two job fairs which are open to all residents.

  • Passaic County Community College will host a food service related job fair on Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the PCCC Paterson campus/Paterson Room, 1 College Boulevard, Paterson.   • William Paterson University and the Passaic County One Stop System will host a career resource event - job fair on Friday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1600 Valley Rd., Wayne. The event is sponsored by the School of Continuing and Professional Education.
    Companies invited to attend represent the following industries: healthcare, transportation, security, material management, retail/sales, manufacturing, financial, and government.
    Workshops will include: "Using Social Media in Your Job Search," "Nailing the Job: Resumes for the 21st Century," and "How to Apply for Government Jobs." Veteran’s assistance will be available.
    Job seekers: plan to arrive early as some companies may not be able to stay until 1 p.m. and bring at least 20 resumes. Interview attire is a must.
    Note that Bus #744 goes directly to 1600 Valley Rd.

Passaic County One Stop Career Center is located at 200 Memorial Dr., first floor, Paterson. Its on site resources include a career resource room, copy machine, telephones, personal computers, fax machines, Internet access, and rooms where employers can interview job seekers. The center offers job search assistance, training and career assistance.
