Passaic County Plans Compost Bin, Rain Barrel Sale and Education Program

The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste & Recycling Programs is sponsoring a compost bin and rain barrel sale and education program on Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the Clifton City Hall Complex, 900 Clifton Ave. at Dog Pound Road, Clifton. Reserve a compost bin by Thursday, May 11 and get a free kitchen scrap bucket (with bin purchase-one per household).

Compost bins are $55 including tax, and rain barrels are $75 including tax while supplies last. Cash or check accepted. To reserve a compost bin or rain barrel call 973-305-5738. Leave your name, phone number, and number of compost bins and/or rain barrels to be purchased. Also available for purchase: kitchen buckets, aerators, chicken-wire style holding bins and more.

Street Hockey Program Open To Children from Passaic Valley area, Cedar Grove

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The WP Boys & Girls Club is planning registration dates for its summer street hockey program. The program is offered to all residents of Woodland Park, Cedar Grove, Totowa and Little Falls, who are currently in kindergarten to eight grade.
