LITTLE FALLS, NJ – Passaic Valley Summer Theater is gearing up to present its main stage production, “RENT: School Edition,” on July 26, 27 and 28, and its junior production, “13,” on Aug. 3 and 4
“RENT: School Edition” will be performed July 26, 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. This is a reserved seating event. The show stars students from Cedar Grove, Clifton, Glen Rock, Hoboken, Jersey City, Little Falls, Montclair, Parsippany, Riverdale, Secaucus, Totowa, Wayne, Woodland Park and Rockaway.
"RENT School Edition" follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. "RENT" is a winner of a Tony Award for best musical and the Pulitzer Prize for drama.
“13 The Musical” will be performed Aug. 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. This is a reserved seating event. The show stars students from Bloomfield, Bloomingdale, Carlstadt, Cedar Grove, Lincoln Park, Little Falls, Pompton Plains, Totowa, West Caldwell and Woodland Park.
"13 The Musical" tells the story of a teen grappling with his parents' divorce, preparing for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigating the complicated social circles of a new school after moving from Indiana to New York City.
