Pets of the Week

Nike is 5 years old, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and recently had a dental. Nike just loves everyone he meets. His mom is a poodle and his dad was a Japanese Chin, which gives him his dashing good looks. He needs slow introductions to other dogs but he is adapting to life in foster care.

Kaidence was living outside in the cold when someone noticed her and wanted to help this adorable princess. Kaidence is 3 1/2 months old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and FeLV/FIV negative.

FOWA Rescue can be reached at or 973-902-7515. See for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.

Please don't let his coloring or name fool you, Oreo, is actually a Hound mix dressed up in a Rottweiler disguise. He is a 1-1/2 year old, 50 pound mush who likes to give hugs and loves to play with other dogs. Another big lunk is our Rocky. This 10 month-old, beautiful, blue-colored American Staffordshire Terrier mix, needs to find a new home. He is a young boy who currently lives with children. Either dog would make a great companion. Meet some of our adoptables on Saturdays at the Petco on Route 46 west in Totowa from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit
