Pictures Surface of Fetty Wap's Chain Igniting Robbery Claims in Sunday Paterson Shooting

PATERSON, N.J. - Pictures surfaced Sunday and Monday on social media of people posing for pictures wearing Fetty Wap's signature "1738" chain confirming reports that the rapper was robbed as part of an altercation which left one member of the rapper's entourage with assault charges.

Monday morning police announced charges against Raheem Morris for aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Morris is a member of hometown rap star (Willie Maxwell) Fetty Wap's entourage and was identified by police as the actor who assaulted one of the victims with a firearm inside Montclair Deli on Montclair Avenue. The incident spilled into the street when shots were fired and at 5 a.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to the deli on in response to a fight that broke out.

On arrival police found a 34-year-old male victim with a wound to his lower leg. A second male victim was located three blocks away with a gunshot wound to his torso. Both were transported to  St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment, while a third victim arrived a short time later in a private vehicle.

Sources say the scuffle was part of an attempted robbery of Maxwell although police declined to confirm that in their report.

Police director Jerry Speziale commended his department saying, "The special investigations unit pulled out all stops and vigorously pursued this investigation through the weekend."

Street Hockey Program Open To Children from Passaic Valley area, Cedar Grove

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The WP Boys & Girls Club is planning registration dates for its summer street hockey program. The program is offered to all residents of Woodland Park, Cedar Grove, Totowa and Little Falls, who are currently in kindergarten to eight grade.
