LITTLE FALLS, NJ - Maximilian Communications, LLC, has announced that New York radio host Joan Herrmann, a Woodland Park resident, will be the official program emcee and guest speaker for the Komen North Jersey Women’s Wellness Expo, held Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne.
Herrmann is the host of the weekly radio program, "Conversations with Joan," which, beginning Sept. 30, will air Sundays at 10 p.m. on New York’s AM970 The Answer and stream live on iHeartRadio.
The Women’s Wellness Expo raises awareness for breast health and healthy lifestyles, facilitates access to care for underserved communities, educates insured populations, and advocates for women to take action with their health. The event is women focused but will offer activities for the whole family.
There will be free health screenings, an inspiring speaker program, nutritional advice, fitness and active lifestyle information, and a special kids zone.
“I am thrilled to be part of this important event that raises awareness about health issues,” said Herrmann. “I believe that knowledge is power and this expo provides solutions to help us live a long, empowered life.”
In additional to hosting the radio show, Herrmann is the publisher of 24/Seven magazine, a motivational speaker, a TAPinto digital newspaper columnist, and author.
Herrmann created the Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life brand after experiencing a series of traumatic life events. She began her journey with what she calls a “rebirth” when her 23-year marriage ended and her mother and sister passed away, all within a period of six months. She used the tremendous loss and personal pain she experienced as the catalyst to a new life.
During a period of self-discovery, Herrmann came to understand that we are impacted by all aspects of life, and are not just the mind, body, soul or spirit, but a sum of the whole. She set out to provide information that connects the dots between these components and it is her goal to educate, inspire, and motivate others.
A published author and motivational speaker on the topics of transition, mind-body connection, and self-empowerment, Herrmann has been featured in Forbes, on the BBC, and other print and broadcast media. She writes a weekly column, "Conversations with Joan," for Tapinto digital newspapers.
Maximilian Communications is a full-service multimedia communications company. The company publishes a free monthly digital magazine for the show, 24/Seven, which can be delivered by email to subscribers or read at the site www.cyacyl.com.
