School Supplies Being Collected at Little Falls' Pencilworks, Woodland Park Library For Students in Need

LITTLE FALLS/WOODLAND PARK, NJ -  Two school supply drives are being held locally this month.

A school supply drive is being held by Woodland Park Girl Scout Troop 70411 for Foster and Adoptive Family Services. All donations benefit students in Passaic County schools. Donations can be dropped off at the Alfred Baumann Library now through Aug. 25 during its regular hours. Supplies needed include: #2 pencils, crayons, colored pencils, blue and black pens, glue sticks, index cards, backpacks, composition books, wide-ruled notebook paper, erasers, pocket folders, pencil boxes, rulers and safety scissors. In Little Falls, Pencilworks Studio, 96 Main St., is a collection site for the United Way of Passaic County's Backpacks for Kids program for area children in need. The drive is being held now through Aug. 16. The following items are needed: backpacks, lunch boxes, composition books, crayons (24 pack), #2 pencils, erasers, pens, pencil cases, single subject spiral notebooks.

Street Hockey Program Open To Children from Passaic Valley area, Cedar Grove

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The WP Boys & Girls Club is planning registration dates for its summer street hockey program. The program is offered to all residents of Woodland Park, Cedar Grove, Totowa and Little Falls, who are currently in kindergarten to eight grade.
