Gelati by Mike donated 150 backpacks, printed at cost by Juzdan Gear, to the effort. Jayden has about 230 additional backpacks and hundreds of supplies that have been collected from a collection box at the Alfred Baumann Library all summer.

Join Jayden and his friends and family, to help package everything for distribution. There will be ice cream provided by Gelati by Mike, sandwiches and salad provided by Uncle Phil's, and more for all the volunteers. Members of Oasis and Eva’s Village shelters will be there as well. Filled backpacks will also be distributed to those in need in Woodland Park Schools. Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh, Mayor Kazmark and other officials will be on hand to help.

Donations of backpacks, highlighters, Crayola markers, index cards and more are welcome, as well as volunteers to help fill the bags.
