Singac Fire Company 5K To Benefit Little Falls Teen Battling Cancer


LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Singac Fire Company is hosting its first annual 5K and Family Fun Walk on Sunday, April 30 at Passaic Valley High School, 170 East Main St. 

The company has chosen to donate all proceeds to benefit one of its brother firefighters in need. Anthony Englehardt is in a fight against advanced stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Anthony is a member of the Little Falls Fire Department and student at Passaic Valley High School.

Donation is $35 for runners and $20 for walkers. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Race starts at 9.

Passaic County Offers Free Dog Training Classes

Does your family have a new dog or puppy that needs to get trained? You do not have to spend a fortune training Fido. Come to Passaic County's free dog training sessions in Goffle Brook Park in Hawthorne. Classes are held every Monday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. through June, July, and August.
