LITTLE FALLS, NJ - Join in for a fun and festive children's book reading and signing with local author and wellness books for children publisher Dr. Angela Parrino at The Fine Grind on Sundays, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and March 5 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Dr. Parrino will be reading from a selection of her published children’s books about health and mental wellness and these books will be available for purchase at the event. You can RSVP to Angela at gphoneytomes@yahoo.com. For more information about these events, go to www.tfgcoffee.com.

Dr. Parrino will be reading from the book "Gus, the Feeling-Better Polar Bear," which is based, in part, on Gus of the Central Park Zoo in NYC where he formerly was the beloved main attraction. At one time or another, we all feel "under the weather" and look forward to feeling better. In the story, Gus follows Dr. Kim's advice about how to do just that and is healed by the generosity of so many caring people around the world. He feels better, not because of the actual gifts he receives, but because the people around him make him feel loved. The first book of a six book children's wellness set, Gus the Feeling-Better Polar Bear focuses on emotional wellness. The Spanish version "El Oso Polar Se Siente Mejor" is also available.
