The Montclair Golf Club has named Tim Bolton their new Director of Golf following a prodigious effort by the Montclair Golf Club Search Committee, which undertook a national search. Bolton, who joined the staff at Baltimore Country Club in 2003, had served as their Head Professional for the past 9 years. Like Montclair GC, Baltimore CC, founded in 1898, is a family- oriented club with 36 holes of golf and fine traditions. During his time at BCC, Tim led the golf program through a period of significant growth in all aspects, including leading the growth of women’s programs. He has also enjoyed success with programs focused on member engagement and retention.
“It is an honor and privilege to have been selected for this opportunity at Montclair Golf Club,” said Bolton. “I am excited to be a part of a professional team committed to making each day a professional and welcoming experience that exceeds member and guest’s expectations. It is also a privilege to join a Section rich in tradition with many prestigious facilities and successful professionals.”
He will lead all golf operations at the Club and ensure collaboration with the Golf Course Superintendent and General Manager to continue to provide all members and guests with a great experience while at the Club.
“We are delighted to have Tim join our Management Team,” said Vernon Endo, President. “His passion for golf and outstanding track record at BCC, coupled with his personal commitment to excellence in the member and guest experience, makes him ideally qualified for the key role he will play at Montclair.”
Tim will be joining Montclair Golf Club in March and his wife, Kell, and two children will relocate to the area once the school year is completed.
