The Role of Preakness Valley in the American Revolution will be presented on Sunday, July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dey Mansion, 199 Totowa Rd., Wayne.

This free presentation is about the significance and value of Preakness Valley and its vital role in America's fight for independence. The presentation will explain and stress the value of the valley's geography, its farms, and citizen patriots who came to the aid of General George Washington. Light refreshments will be served.
