TOTOWA, NJ - Matt Wiercinski of Totowa recently made his Broadway premiere on the acclaimed play "Anastasia." Matt is part of the play’s ensemble and is featured as Prince Siegfried in the ballet in Act II of the play.
Wiercinski grew up in Totowa, and danced locally and in the city throughout his early life. He has been able to work with some of the top choreographers in the business. Almost directly out of high school, Wiercinski began to work professionally in theater and the commercial world. Currently he is signed with Bloc Talent Agency, and Bicoastal MGMT.
Wiercinski is not only an actor and dancer, but sings and does modeling as well. He has worked regional in theater across the country. He also as performed/worked for: Henry Danger (Nickelodeon), Samsung, MAC Cosmetics and NY Fashion week.
Before his Broadway break, Wiercinski starred in the musical short film, “The Carnival Kid.” The film draws heavily upon the golden age of musical film. This comedic musical film follows Travis through a dream sequence as he just can’t get his co-worker Adeline off his mind. Carnival Kid meet with rave reviews at its world premiere at the Chelsea Fashion and Film Festival in New York City in the stunning Holy Apostle Theater. The film has already won numerous awards, including the prestigious “Jury Award” at the Northern Virginia Film Festival as well Runner-Up Audience Choice at the Enginuity Film Festival.

Wiercinski’s talents aren’t limited to theater and film. You may also recognize him from the Nickelodeon show “Harvey Danger.” Where he was featured as a dancer in the “Danger Games” episode a huge cross over event of “Harvey Danger” and “Game Shakers.”
"Anastasia" premiered on Broadway in April of 2017 and has been nominated for numerous awards including Tony Awards and Drama Desk Awards. The show is currently at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City.
