TOTOWA, NJ The Totowa Public Library will be having their annual Boro-Wide Trash to Treasure Garage Sale on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The streets of Totowa will once again be alive as driveways will be packed with items for sale and treasure hunters traverse the Borough looking for bargains.

Homeowners looking to participate can still register their address via the Library's website (https://www.totowapl.org/sale).  On the day of the event, those looking to buy items should look for the "STOP HERE" signs on people’s front lawns or driveways. As the date comes closer, maps of all the houses participating in the garage sale will be available online and at the Totowa Library, located at 537 Totowa Rd. If there are any Totowa residents that are unable to host a sale on their property, contact the Library at 973-790-3265 to make other arrangements.

Separate from the garage sales, the Library will also be holding several collections at its main location. There will be a shredding and electronic waste collection fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a clothing and household goods collection from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and a plant sale hosted by Sprouting Totowa from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. New this year, the Library will also be collecting adult and kids bicycles as well as sewing machines from 12 to 3 p.m. to send to different countries in need.

Additionally, Pawndingo Pawn Shop will be in attendance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assess anyone’s treasures. For more information on all of these events, visit thttps://www.totowapl.org/sale or call the Totowa Library at 973-790-3265.
