Trader Joe’s announced Sunday that the company was voluntarily recalling the following unsweetened apple sauces in all stores because of the potential presence of glass pieces in the product:

  • Trader Joe's First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce barcode 00015905, all codes through “Best before Aug. 8, 2018.”
  • Trader Joe's Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce, barcode 00194877, all codes “Best before Oct. 6, 2018.”

It also recalled jars of Trader Joe's All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce with the barcode 00014359 in several states outside of this area.

All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves and destroyed, the company said. Trader Joe’s urged customers to discard products affected by the recall or return them to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
