WOODLAND PARK, NJ - On Monday, May 27, Memorial Day, at 9 a.m. the West Paterson Fire Department will be having a rededication ceremony of its Firemen's Monument, which is located at McBride Avenue and Memorial Drive.
Company #2 1st Lt. Michael Herrmann came up with the idea of including engraved paver stones with names of past and present firefighters. He reached out to anyone who has ever been a WP firefighter. The Department will unveiling the pavers at the event and rededicate the monument. They will be recognizing Chief George Moussab, the late department Chaplin Father John Piccione, all past department chiefs, and all past, current and deceased members of the department. All are welcome to attend.
