WOODLAND PARK, NJ - At the June 21 Woodland Park Borough Council meeting, the Woodland Park Business Association presented a $500 scholarship to Sabina Bet, a recent graduate of Passaic Valley High School.

Sabina will be attending Passaic County Community College in the fall with an anticipated major in the study of nursing. Her long-range plans include pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. She has also served as a cheerleading coach for the West Paterson Boys & Girls Club.

The criteria for the business association’s scholarship was heavily contingent upon the writing of an essay on the topic: "What impact do you think the new president and his administration will have on small businesses and the economy?"
