WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library hosted its 11th annual Dr. Seuss Celebration on March 5 with an event at Borough Hall Council Chambers.

Guest readers Mayor Keith Kazmark and school district Superintendent Dr. Michele Pillari read "Ten Apples Up On Top!" with help from the library's Junior Ambassadors. Students from Mrs. Seavy's fourth grade class in Beatrice Gilmore also read their own literary creations, while Passaic Valley Rotary members read "the reader's oath."

The children in attendance were entertained by magician Kevin Carr following the readings. After the event, kids were invited to stop in the library for a free gift from Kohl's of Woodland Park. Volunteers were on hand from the store, which partnered with the library in the event through its Kohl's Cares program.
