Woodland Park Council Honors Competition Cheerleading Squads

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Woodland Park Mayor and Council honored the WP Boys & Girls Club Panthers A and B Squads at the Feb. 7 council meeting for their achievements in the UCCL Cheer Competition, which was held at Passaic Valley High School on Dec. 3. The A Squad took first place in both the cheer and pom pom divisions. The B Squad also took first place in both the cheer and pom pom divisions.

The A Squad (7th and 8th graders) includes Alexandra Acevedo, Arianna Aliotta, Juliana Atallah, Emily Brigati, Nour El-Khatib, Brianna Eppler, Marcella Galindo, Alyssa Garcia, Alexa Lopes, Kayla Manzi, Marcelis Santiago, Tiffany Soriano, and Valerie Vance. Coaches are Ariana Bargiel, Alex Domicolo, Madison Locker and Kya Wright, Advisors are Lori Brigati, Eman Ibrahim, Jazmin Rivera and Carmen Villanueva.

The B Squad (5th and 6th graders) includes Thomas Bolen, Mia Morisco, Kaylaine Noriega, Kailyn Pagan, Gianna Parra, Sophia Pugliese, Isabel Tiseo, Kayla Weaver and Beste Yildirim. Coaches are Gianna Noriega, Isabelle Ortiz, Jessica Lamerias, Gianna Noriega and Julianna Perro. Advisors are Michelle Bolen, Damaris Noriega and Jennifer Nacarro.
