WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Alfred Baumann Library is participating in the National Voter Registration Day, which is Tuesday, Sept. 25. Are you a U.S. citizen and haven’t voted yet? Will you be 18 on Nov. 6? Have you moved recently? Have you changed your name recently? If yes to any of these questions, register to vote at the event. The library, located at 7 Brophy Lane, will take applications from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 25. For more information on the event, contact the library at 973-345-8120.
To register to vote you should provide one of the following: the last four digits of your Social Security Number, your New Jersey driver's license number or your New Jersey non-driver ID number. If you do not have any of these, you can provide a copy of one of the following: current and valid photo ID, document showing proof of address.
The 2018 General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 6. Voter registration deadline is Oct 16. Absentee ballot request deadline is Oct. 30. In-person request is Monday, Nov. 5 by 3 p.m. EST. Absentee ballot return deadline is Nov. 6 by 8 p.m. EST.
