WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The West Paterson Fire Department has welcomed three new firefighters. Rey Irizarry, Chris Luncero and Josch Navalas recently graduated from the Passaic County Fire Academy along with 64 other firefighters from Passaic County.

The three men finished the six month training academy and passed the written test to get their certifications. The Department is happy to welcome them to the front line as firefighters and can't wait to work with them.

The Department is also proud to announce that the Passaic County Fire Academy named a new director of the Passaic County Fire Academy - Jason Macones, who is a firefighter within the Department. The WPFD is proud to have one of its own members as the new training director for the academy.
