Woodland Park School Board Receives Presentation on Test Results

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - At the June 18 Board of Education meeting, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Carmella Triglia gave a presentation on STAR 360 test results. This is the third year the district has been utilizing the program.

The presentation aimed to provide an overview of student performance in the areas of math and ELA (English language arts). Triglia noted that STAR 360 test results are just one of many pieces of student performance data collected. In the PowerPoint slides shown at the meeting, overall test scores show slow and steady growth in both math and ELA, according to Superintendent Dr. Michele Pillari.

"People are working really, really hard," she said. "We're making progress. We're working hard and we should all be proud of the results."

To view the presentation, visit Triglia noted that the results of all benchmark assessments administered to students are always available to parents.
