Woodland Park Summer Concert Series Features Hometown Bands


WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Borough of Woodland Park’s 2017 Summer Concert Series features all local hometown bands this year. Concerts are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Dowling Gardens, corner of McBride Avenue and Dowling Parkway. Bring a chair or blanket, and bug spray.

The schedule is as follows:

  • July 5 - Sunset Soundz
  • July 12 -Sick Star Nation
  • July 19 -Joe Caroselli & Masterpiece
  • July 26 -Monkey Monkey Music - 6:30 p.m. start - children’s concert w/Meredith LeVande of PBS (sponsored by the Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library)
  • Aug. 2 - The Late Show
  • Aug. 9 - Garret Mountain Boys
  • Aug. 16 - The Bucket List

The concerts are sponsored by Mayor Keith Kazmark, and the Woodland Park Committee on Recreation & Community Relations - Tracy Kallert, Chairwoman, Councilwoman Rita Pascrell and Councilman Joe Spinelli.

Street Hockey Program Open To Children from Passaic Valley area, Cedar Grove

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The WP Boys & Girls Club is planning registration dates for its summer street hockey program. The program is offered to all residents of Woodland Park, Cedar Grove, Totowa and Little Falls, who are currently in kindergarten to eight grade.
