Totowa Library Book Discussion Group

Afternoon and evening book discussion groups at the Totowa Public Library, located at 537 Totowa Rd., will be reading "The Little Red Chairs" by Edna O'Brien. In a little Irish town known as Cloonoila, life tends to be monotonous and slow, especially for Fidelma McBride. But when a charismatic stranger named Dr. Vladimir Dragan shows up one night, she soon falls under his spell and gets more than she bargained for.  Hoping that he would cure her deepest pains, she eventually finds out that he is a war criminal and mass murderer. Now, she must embark on a journey to reclaim her life and redeem herself.

The evening book group will be meeting Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Afternoon group will be meeting Friday, Sept. 28 at 1:15 p.m. Pick up a copy of the book at the main desk of the library. Reservations are suggested: call 973-790-3265. Light refreshments will be served. Park and enter in rear of building.
