Water Main Break In Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS, NJ - There is a Water Main break on Main Street bear Orchard Street. It was reported around 3 p.m. Thursday April 11. 

It is a substantial break causing a lack of pressure.

The mayor urges everyone to please be patient as repairs are made. The water Company has been notified.

Hydrant Flushing Continues in Woodland Park, Tap Water May Appear Cloudy

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Hydrant flushing will resume today (Monday) as a part of regular maintenance of the water system.

There is a chance your drinking water will appear cloudy. If this happens, allow the water to run until it is clearn.

Some residents may experience low water pressure. Low pressure will only be temporary. .

Columbus Day Could Become Indigenous Peoples' Day in Glen Rock

GLEN ROCK, NJ - The Borough Council discussed changing Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples' Day on the 2020 borough calendar at last night's work session.

On April 24, Mayor Bruce Packer said the idea was prompted by suggestions in emails the borough had received. "No one except Newark has done it," he said.

Woman Jumps To Her Death At Ikea Parking Garage, Cops Say

PARAMUS, NJ – A 58-year-old Garfield woman leaped to her death overnight from the parking garage at Ikea in Paramus, authorities said.

Police were called to the shopping complex shortly before 5 a.m. Monday, when an employee with the parking lot sweeper service discovered the body, according to Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.
