WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Community Health Connections is a partnership program between the Alfred Baumann Library and the Woodland Park Board of Health.

The weekly program includes a “Fitness Minute” featuring Joan Pagano. The author of best-selling fitness books and informational speaker on health and fitness topics, Joan is the owner of Fitness in New York City. She is an authority on the benefits of exercise for women's health issues as well as strength training through the decades. The “Fitness Minute” is launched on Facebook on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and is available anytime on the Library’s YouTube Channel.

Additionally, on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. a featured speaker will talk about by a variety of topics on health and wellness. The inaugural speaker was Linda Mitchell, founder of LIVING INSPIRED Coaching. Her session was about EPT Tapping, an alternative acupressure therapy treatment used to restore balance disrupted energy. This week the featured speaker was Mary Battaglia, a certified clinical hypnosis practitioner, who is dedicated to helping people improve their lives through hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural altered state, which can clear internal blocks that prevent people from living up to their full potential. This week, Gayle Gruenberg, certified professional organizer, will show you how to take steps in becoming more organized! Gayle is the heart of "Let's Get Organized," founded in 2003. Her warmth, compassion, and love for her clients have since built the company into an internationally recognized organizing firm.
