WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Woodland Park Mayor and Council honored three championship WP Boys & Girls Club Panthers basketball teams at its May 9 meeting. 

The 3rd and 4th grade girls team was determined, after three overtimes in the title game, to be co-champions with Little Falls. Under coach Fred Valentin, the team consists of Arianna Valentin, Lena Preziosi, Madison Amanullah, Ilyanna Shanaa, Jhyanna Beato, Bella Mastropoalo, Kayla Valer, Gabriella Atallah, and Amy Moya.

The 3rd and 4th grade boys championship team, under coach Sal Berardi, consists of Petar Stojanov, Joaquin Vila, Xavier Diaz, Monier Issa, Brayden McGovern, Leonardo Lopez, Vincent Berardi and Tanush Patel.

The 7th and 8th grade boys championship team, under coach Larry Whitney, consists of Omar Abdelfattah, Brian Whitney, Kenet Quinones, Gabrial Gomez, Daniel Blanco, William Phillips, and Dimitri Nicholaides.
