LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Valley National Bank branch at 115 Main St. was robbed at gunpoint, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes and Little Falls Police Chief Steven Post report.

The incident occurred at 2:21 p.m. Valdes said that two men entered the bank with one brandishing a handgun. The second suspect went behind the counter and removed money from tellers’ drawers while the gunman held employees still. Valdes noted that the suspects fled the scene and that the investigation remains active and ongoing. No further description of the suspects was given. 

Police have not disclosed how much money was taken or a description of the suspects yet. There were no injuries reported.
