TOTOWA/WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Woodland Park and Totowa firefighters recently helped load up a trailer full of over 600 toys that were collected at their Nov. 30 Holiday Lights Parade. Firefighter Bill Broadfield and his wife Karen, of Totowa, drove the trailer to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

In addition to the toys, a check of $2,500 was donated to St. Jude's. The toys and money were all raised at the parade participants as well as spectators.

This commitment to hosting the parade for the kids and delivering toys to kids fighting cancer shows the commitment of the local Fire Department members from both towns. Additional toys collected were given to the municipalities for local children in need.
