PATERSON, NJ - Paterson Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale has announced two raids by the Paterson Police Department’s Narcotics Division leading to a total of thirteen arrests and the issuance of 74 criminal complaints. 

Confiscated in the raids at the two Paterson homes was a total of six bottles of promethazine with codeine with a street value of $12,000, 119 oxycodone pills, 89 Percocet pills, 41 bags of marijuana, 15 glassines of heroin, and 10 baggies of cocaine.

One high capacity magazine and a total of $12,667 in U.S. currency was seized as the suspected proceeds from the sale of narcotics.

The first action came at 519 Summer Street where citizens complained drug buyers would walk up the driveway to the rear garage and take part in illegal drug transactions. The second action took place at 28 Oak Street.

Arrested and charged with various drug related crimes were:

  • Hector Ramos,24, Paterson 
  • Michael Morton, 35, Paterson

  • Jorge Chavez-Hidalgo, 66 Paterson
  • Rafael Rodriguez, 57, Paterson 
  • Warlyn Rosario, 28, Paterson
  • Luis Soto-Galarza, 28, Newark  
  • Marlenis Cruz-Cuevas, 25, Paterson  
  • Welithon Tineo-Nunez, 33, Paterson
