PATERSON, NJ - A 15-year-old Paterson boys was shot late Saturday, according to police.

In a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, officials announced that members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 11th Avenue and East 28th Street at approximately 11:03 p.m. on a report that an individual had been shot. 

Upon arrival the police located the young victim who was immediately brought to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The shooting was the second to occur on Saturday.
