PATERSON, NJ - Police are investigating the robbery of the Quality Market at 223 17th Ave. on Saturday evening.

According to Paterson police, at around 7 p.m. that night, a Hispanic male walked into the store and threatened the cashier with a handgun. The suspect stole the contents of the cash register and then fled by foot.

The suspect is described as 6-foot-1, 190 pounds with brown hair and medium complexion. He was wearing black jeans and a gray shirt.

No one was injured in the robbery.
