24 Candidates Signal Intent To Run in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ- Less than a week after petitions to get on the May ballot were made available, 24 candidates have signaled their intent to run for office

According to the City Clerk’s office those candidates are:

Other candidates may emerge as several individuals are still believed to be considering runs of their own.

Candidates must collect and turn in 815 signatures of Paterson voters to the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on March 5, 2018 to appear on the ballot. 

Voters may only sign the petition of one candidate running for Mayor, and the petitions of up to three candidates running for Council-At-Large.

Voters will got to the polls on Tuesday, May 8.
