800 Paterson Public School Children Visit City Green Learning Garden at Eastside Park

PATERSON, NJ - Eight hundred Paterson Public School children visited City Green’s Learning Garden at Eastside Park on 10 days of field trips starting this past week.  Students  participated in soil studies, seed exploration, planting, harvesting, a habitat walk viewing insects and butterflies. This program is a partnership between City Green Community Garden and Environmental Education non-profit and Paterson’s Public Schools.

City Green is a 501 (c) 3 community garden and educational programming non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban farms and gardens in northern New Jersey’s cities to enrich the lives of inner city residents, while cultivating education in public health, nutrition and the environment. I am writing this letter to express a grave concern I have regarding the influx of absentee ballots. To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation. 

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
