CLARK, NJ – You may be right! I may be crazy! But “we didn’t start the fire.”  Swing by Oak Ridge Park on Wednesday night, Aug. 24, as Union County finishes off its 2016 Summer Arts Festival concert series with New York State of Mind, a Billy Joel tribute band.

“We wrap up another exciting summer of entertainment in our parks with a fabulous performance featuring music made famous by the great Billy Joel,” said Union County Freeholder Chairman Bruce Bergen. “And be sure to arrive early to participate in UC Get Fit Yoga in the Park, a great way for families to stay healthy together.”

The free concert starts at 7:30 p.m.  The band recreates classic Billy Joel songs that, according to event organizers, are “certain to move both casual listeners and hardcore fans to their feet and have them singing along with all of the well known and loved classics.”

Pack a picnic dinner or swing by Tony’s Traveling Trattoria for Italian comfort food.  TG and Sons Good Humor truck, a familiar sighting at many Clark events, will be dishing out cool treats.

Before the concert, join the “UC Get Fit Yoga in the Park” for a free community yoga class from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.  Bring a mat or beach towel.

Representatives from the Union County Department of Public Safety will also be on hand to provide concert goers with safety information and will have a number of public safety vehicles on display.
