FLORHAM PARK, NJ - AAA's October 30 survey shows that the price of a gallon of gasoline in New Jersey is four cents more this week than last week,

Prices were declining each of the last six weeks. In the past week the price of a gallon of gas rose every day last week bringing the average price to $2.48. 

Today's price is 11 cents less than a month ago, but 40 cents higher than a year ago.

This Wednesday, November 1, marks one year since New Jersey's 23 cent gas tax increase took effect.
