PATERSON, NJ - A 21-year-old Paterson man was arrested Monday after Paterson Narcotics Detectives reported observing him engage in a hand-to-hand drug transaction with an unidentified male.

According to Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale, the incident took place at approximately 12:25 p.m. after detectives initiated surveillance in the area of Broadway and Summer Street. Following the drug transactions, Davis and the unidentified male departed the location separately.

Surveillance detectives directed an arrest team to 240 Summer Street where Davis was standing outside and found to be in possession of 16 bricks (840 glassine envelopes) of suspected heroin.
