PISCATAWAY, NJ – Yesterday, local supermarkets announced they will take back Kozy Shack Indulgent Recipe Puddings affected by a recent recall and give a full refund.

The two recalled products are Kozy Shack Indulgent Recipe Vanilla Bean Pudding - 15 oz., UPC # 07349109230 and Kozy Shack Indulgent Recipe Salted Caramel Pudding - 15 oz., UPC # 07349109240.

Stop and Shop’s recall announcement states that “Kozy Shack has issued a recall for these items because the incorrect sleeve was placed over the pudding cups. As a result, some packaged sleeves do not include the required egg allergen declaration.”

According to ShopRite’s recall announcement, “People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the pudding. There is no health risk associated with the pudding for individuals without an allergy to eggs.”

I am writing this letter to express a grave concern I have regarding the influx of absentee ballots. To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation. 

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
