PATERSON, NJ- A body found in a vacant Totowa home on Tuesday has been identified as Luis Rodriguez, 22, Paterson.
According to a statement released by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Totowa Police Chief Robert Coyle, the Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office in Newark made the positive identification on Friday.
The investigation began when members of the Totowa Department responded to a call from a concerned regarding a strange odor coming from the vacant multi-family dwelling. Upon their arrival, the report reads, officers located the body of what initially appeared to be a deceased female inside the building.
While the manner of death is still being investigated law enforcement officials have said that there is no indication that the death is suspicious, no suspects are being sought, and there is nothing to indicate that there is any danger to the public.
