PATERSON, NJ - An investigation is ongoing after two Paterson men, 26 and 39, arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon.

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora members of the Paterson Police Department were advised of the incident at approximately 4:10 p.m.

Police were later told that a shooting incident occurred in the area of Elizabeth Street and Getty Avenue and subsequently located a potential crime scene.
