PATERSON, NJ - The annual Rev. Dr. Frank Napier 5K Walk / Run is being held on Saturday at 8 am at East Side Park.
This event, sponsored by the city recreation division and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, is held in honor and memory of the late Dr. Frank Napier, Jr., who was the first African-American Superintendent of Schools for Paterson. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund established in his name for local high school students.
 
For more information, call the recreation offices at 973-321-1313. Applications are available at the White House in East Side Park or at the recreation offices at 133 Ellison Street.
