PATERSON, N.J. - A Passaic woman was seriously injured last month when she was struck by a pickup truck in Paterson and police are now asking the public to help them find the culprit.
The driver of a blue Ford F-150 kept going after striking the 27-year-old pedestrian on 16th Avenue near Madison Avenue, said Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes and Paterson Police Chief William Fraher. They said the incident took place at about 3:28 p.m. on Sept. 27. The woman was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, said Fraher and Valdes, who did not elaborate on her current condition.
The truck was captured in a photograph. Authorities said it has stickers on the rear window of its cab.
