PATERSON, NJ- While much of the focus on that part of the world centers on the mounting tensions between the United States and North Korea, Passaic County officials earlier this week welcomed a delegation from South Korea. The four-member delegation visited the Passaic County Finance Office to learn how the Passaic County government conducts business, and how they collaborate with other governmental entities.
“The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders were thrilled to receive the delegation from South Korea. We work everyday to improve the lives of county residents, and to have our efforts recognized around the globe is a great honor,” stated Sandi Lazzara, Freeholder Director. “We look forward to partnering with LOFA to improve the lives of South Korean residents.”
The delegation was from Local Finance Association (LOFA), which was established in 1964 as a financial aid provider for local governments in South Korea.
