Detectives Arrest Suspect In Weekend Shooting

Paterson, NJ - On Sunday, 3/5, at approximately 8:10 P.M., Paterson Police patrol units were dispatched to the area of Montgomery and Summer Streets on a report of a shooting business inside a business. On arrival, officers located a 22 year old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s regional Medical Center for treatment. As a result of an investigation conducted by Detectives Francisco Brito and Salvatore Marotta of the Ceasefire Unit, Tommie Pulliam of East Orange was identified as the alleged actor in this incident. Pulliam was taken into custody by Detectives without incident in East Orange a short time ago, with the assistance of Detectives from the New Jersey Division Of Parole. Pulliam will be detained at the Passaic County Jail pending initial court proceedings.  D/Captain Patrick Murray said "We will continue to vigorously target those responsible for violent crime."
