PATERSON, NJ - The last time the Giants were in the Super Bowl in 2008, there was record number of drunk driving arrests in New Jersey, according to the Attorney General's office.

So authorities are planning stepped up police patrols on Sunday. Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa and State Police Superintendent Colonel Rick Fuentes will announce the measures at a press conference on Thursday.

On Super Sunday in 2008, when the Giants beat the Patriots, 17-14, New Jersey arrested 176 drunk drivers, the most ever in the State of New Jersey on a Super Bowl Sunday, according to authorities.
