PATERSON, NJ - A dump truck accident caused an injury to the driver and a mess on the roadway Tuesday night in the city.
At around 9:30 p.m., the dump truck rolled over near the intersection of McLean Blvd. and Edwards Avenue, resulting in a diesel spill that left 25 yards of asphalt on the roadway, according to the Paterson Fire Department. The driver was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
McLean Blvd. was closed for several hours Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for cleanup, but has since been reopened.
