PATERSON, NJ - For the second time this season, the Eastside soccer team defeated its crosstown rival, John F. Kennedy. The final score in the October 29 contest was 7-3.

Michael Laguna and Kerome Hall scored three goals apiece for the Ghosts. Laguna scored one unassisted, one with an assist from Kevin Viecco and another with an assist from Franco Matias Jaime. Hall also had one unassisted goal, with assists on the other two from Jaime and Laguna. Jaime also scored one goal, on a assist from Hall.

Rhemone Brian, Cesar Aguilar and Jim Flores scored the goals for Kennedy, while Flores, Brian and Gilmark Costa had assists for the Knights.

Kevin Viecco played goal in the first, notching seven saves for Eastside, while Steven Murillo had one save in goal in the second half. Kennedy goal-tender Ruben Vargas had six saves.

The win raised the Ghosts' record to 4-10, while the Knights dropped to 1-12.
